For foreign participants, we recommend arriving in and departing from one of the two international
airports in Beijing (Beijing Capital Airport and Beijing Daxing Airport).
For the trip from Beijing to Shijiazhuang and from Shijiazhuang to Beijing,
we recommend using fast trains. Note that Beijing and Shijiazhuang are connected by more than 50 fast trains a day
(Beijing West train station or Beijing Fengtai train staion in Beijing and Shijiazhuang train station in Shijiazhuang).
To check the schedule of the trains and book the tickets, we recommend the website
trip.com . Note that this website is suitable for foreigners
and accepts Visa and Master cards for payments.
For transfers between the airport and the train station we recommend
taking taxis, which are available in all airports and train stations (just follow the pointers in English).
Important: please prepare enough cash for your daily life in China because Visa and Master cards
are rarely accepted.
